Cozy atmosphere. Delicious food featuring fresh, local ingredients. Large variety of cocktails and their rum, vodka and brandy have ingredients grown on the battlefield. How unique is that?
Such a great place with really friendly people. I appreciate the hospitality. Plus, Thursday's are trivia night. I highly recommend this place for dinner or to hang out for drinks. Truly a great place!
Derek the bartender was absolutely fantastic! You can tell he truly loves what he does, and super informative. Would make the 3 hour drive just to visit this awesome establishment again! Exceptionally healthy farm to table food. This is one of the most desirable places to visit again.
GREAT location, really cute restaurant. A little loud, it's all open and no insulation, so sound bounces around a lot, but they have outdoor seating. Great drinks, really wide selection of cocktails and beers. Awesome food, try the shallot dip, and the poutine: fantastic!!! Even the bathrooms are cool. Loved it, will come again!!!
We found the ambiance, service, and presentation to be 4.5 stars. They were also quick. I thought the burger was over priced. We did not like the over fancy under yummy hush puppies. It seemed as though each dish was missing something in terms of flavor. It was all a bit bland. We felt that each dish was lacking salt and or pepper. And we don't like salty foods. Their cocktail menu has to many vodka drinks, no gin or tequila. But I liked how they organized the menu. We probably would not go back based on overall food taste and price.
