The friendly staff at the Hertz in Gettysburg, PA is the biggest asset to the Hertz family. They are all very courteous and professional. I wouldn’t take my business anywhere else. They are very accommodating to my needs, its fast service and they are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure their guests enjoy their experience. Blaine was Awesome. After waisting almost 3 hrs with Enterprise driving to pick up a non existent vehicle. Finally got a reservation #and pick up time from them. 20hrs later, still no car. I quickly called Blaine..wow. he sent a driver to pick me up at my house in 45min. That's how far they are from me. Way above and beyond customer service. I will only call him for any future needs. 5 starz
I specifically told the girl Lindsay that I did not want the red car she gave me because it attracts police. Instead of giving me a different car, she joked that it was dark red. Well the police officer who pulled me over was not joking when he wrote me a ticket for driving 5 MILES over the limit. I brought up the color of the car & he confirmed that in the group of cars I was traveling with on the highway, the red caught his eye & he chose me. When I returned the car after hours, I left a note explaining this very expensive inconvenience all due to an employee who did nothing to make me happy. I left my contact information & they never contacted me. Needless to say I will take my business elsewhere in the future like Enterprise.
This Hertz is located inside the Wyndham hotel in Gettysburg. It's a separate check in desk. Nobody was there and I was directed to call a phone number. However, once they were there it was an easy check out. They checked the car with me. Returning was also very easy.
Always have a great experience with Hertz Rental. Staff is great, always prompt, has vehicle ready. Vehicles and prices are great. If you need a rental I would choose Hertz.
