Pretty ridiculous, this hospital won't help you at all. Better luck at york or hershey hospital. Don't expect much if any at all.

WORST HOSPITAL EVER.. I won't come here if my life depended on it, or if needed a bandage..
Doctors don't even talk to you they just put things in your Chart..
They almost put my unborn baby at risk thank God I got a second opinion.
Went into the ER last night with severe chest pains, pain in upper back, numbness in left arm and fingers tinglingly. BW and x-ray was completed as well as an EKG. Doctor Holiday came in within maybe a hour after me being there, never told me the results of my EKG. Told me she wanted BW done and left. After my BW the nurse said I need an x-ray. (Totally okay with that). As I walking back from x-ray the nurse that took me was already at my room door while I was at the other end of the hall holding my chest because of a pain. She refused to come back down to make sure I was okay. After sitting for another hour this other lady comes in telling me shes discharging me. My blood was boiling. I asked for the results and her response was everything's normal, nothing's wrong with you. But if it happens again you can come back. She's not a Dr so she shouldn't have have me any results. After last night I refuse to use Gettysburg hospital anymore.
DON'T GO HERE..
Last 3 times there dinner were not serve like they were supposed to. Meat was red. Steaks were mixed up.taking meat back to recoil it made rest of dinner got cold. We had 6 in the party.management took my small steak off bill.I'd rather had a good hot dinner. Always a big turn around with people who work there. Beautiful place and always clean. Less food for the price we noticed.
Came to emergency room with what I thought was a heart attack, admitted for a severe condition that was unrelated to heart. I was treated with great compassion, respect and concern. Every step of diagnostics and treatment were thoroughly explained and every effort made to keep me comfortable. The staff was very understanding and compassionate toward my husband and we both are so grateful for their skill and thoughtfulness
