We've been attending live performances at the Majestic ever since we moved to Gettysburg 12 years ago. They have always been a delight. Last Friday we went to see Lonesome Traveler and they were a very talented group of entertainers who put on a terrific show. However, their performance was constantly detracted from by the unusually HORRIBLE sound and lighting flaws which were inexcusable. Shame!
Beautiful theater, I got to meet Mr. Stephan Lang there, twice! Once for the movie " A Gettysburg Story" and once to his play " Call to Glory, which would have given you 10 stars had you put a microphone on Slang, as we couldn't hear half the play and we paid very good money to see this play.
Best production of A Christmas Carol I have seen. Paris Peet excelled in the role of Scrooge. This is a must see play.
Wonderful small Main ST kind of old time movie place. They play more of the limited release films you dont find anywhere else. Snack bar however is quite a let down. (The snack bar has improved)
The Christmas Carol was fantastic and the Theater was a beautiful venue with amazing lights, sound and seating. "A+". Merry Christmas and God BLESS everyone!!
The other complaint with this place is they need to play more simple movies there! We LOVED when they showed " Gettysburg" and would love to see " God's and Generals" on day! There are tons of civil war movie they should okay at the theater!
