Our guide Dean was extraordinary and very knowledgeable. The tour itself was awesome. I do not mind spending extra money for value, however I believe the $72.00 per person charge for this tour on bicycles is ridiculously expensive. Please note we brought our own bikes and helmets, and the owner of the bike tour gave us no discount !
Great way to see the battlefield. The guide was very knowledgeable. He asked the group if we had any special interests before the tour started, and was sure to specifically point out our interests. The bikes were well maintained too.
I shared 3.5 hours (paid for 3!) with my girlfriend, another couple and Bob our tour guide, Bob was a former history teacher and obviously enjoyed what he was doing. He asked us re any special interests and covered same extensively- highlight of our two week east coast trip!
Bruce was our guide and after doing 1000 tours, he had so much information and knowledge! The electric bike can be used all day after the tour, making peddling so easy, Recommend!
Having booked a private bike tour with grandparents to grandchildren in a bike carriage, we would not have wanted to do this trip any other way. Bruce, our guide was phenomenal. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, he was able to adapt the tour to our specific needs without instruction. The staff at Gettysbike were great, and even brought us coffee and hot chocolate at one of our stops!
