So here is the tourist review. We found the place by accident we were actually headed to another place for coffee and a quick bite. I saw the place from my car it looked busy which is a good sign. We were seated fast the staff were very polite. The sausage is a must. It has rosemary which I love. The prices were reasonable and they had a decent selection. If you are visiting and want a sit down breakfast this place is great.
Okay, I’m here now I just finished my meal and I can honestly say I have never had such a good breakfast in my life. Not even at home. Sure, you wait a little while for your food BUT it’s worth the wait! They obviously use fresh ingredients and take their time cooking it. We will definitely come back again!
The fruit crepes were to die for, and the tri-color potatoes had just the right amount of red pepper, onion, and bacon (And I don't eat red pepper or onion usually). My husband said the breakfast tacos were also incredible. Service was fast, attentive, and friendly, and if you order hot tea they bring a whole selection of teas to the table for you to choose from. And they have Sugar in the Raw!! Overall I was very impressed with their breakfast.
I visit Gettysburg quite often and I have not been here since it has changed from a bistro to a cafe, very slow service and not very attentive. Attire was also very poor. On a positive side, they do have gluten free/vegan options and the food was delicious. But, I could get good somewhere else. I would like to see the cafe be a classier place (more cleaned up) and more attentive with tables.
Great food! Friendly and courteous service! Wonderful atmosphere! Prices are responsible and food is fabulous. Will visit again!
