We had the worst service tonight at this store and because of it, they lost a customer for good. We went in to look for Bob's and found them in complete disarray. My 12 year old made a comment on how disorganized it was which is saying a lot. I finally found 2 pairs after having my husband, kid's and friend help me dig through the mess. One was the display and was dirty. We asked for a discount and the nice associate said she needed to ask her Manager. I was already dreading this interaction as I had heard him speaking to her earlier and my impression was he was new to management and was a bit pig headed and belittling. She had gone to get him in the back and when they both came from the back he had the dirty shoe in his hand, and never looked up or addressed us. The lady said he was going to clean it because he couldn't give us a discount which is fair . So after attempting to clean it he said it wasn't working so I asked if I could get my discount now. He said he couldn't sell damaged items. We all commented how ridiculous it was and how we had dug to find the other shoe and it was probably dirty from the mess back there and since it was the last one in that size and we needed it for vacation, we think he should give us a small discount anyway. He said ok and told the girl to "just do it" and give us 50% off the sale price. We thanked him. The nice associate did something wrong ringing it up and he rudly made her move and said I'll do it myself. We got 2 packs of socks and 2 pairs of shoes. We paid and left. I got in the car and realized he did not give us the discount after all. I called them back and he said I never said I was going to discount the shoes .. which myself and 4 other people heard him say that. $5 isn't the issue here...his disrespectful lying rude way is. He does not have management potential at all. He shouldn't be dealing with customers. I called him a prick on the phone and although that wasn't very nice, it does perfectly describe him. If I were in charge, I'd fire him and give the other associate a raise for putting up with him. My friend put her stuff back because of his attitude and I'll never shop there again for sure. Had he said no I'm not giving you a discount I have to send them back, but he lied because thats the kind of personality he has. He has to have power. I can't stress more how much you need to get rid of this guy before he drives away anymore customers.
