I went to college in Gettysburg, so I think it's a cool place to hang out for a while when you vacation. But I'm biased. My dad was a huge civil war buff, and this place was great for our family to come and hang out comfortably near him while he went on battlefield expeditions that we weren't usually interested in.

What a great experience today. Had the most amazing sales person Audrey Fenton. She was very helpful in all of our questions and explained all info very well. Def would recommend working with her again.

My parents bought a membership here many years ago, and it was definitely a good move for them. I don't actually like camping very much, but I like this place. A lot of their sites have sewer connections, which is convenient. They have a nice playground if you have small kids, and there are often activities going on in the pavilion. Staying in the sites close to the pavilion is kind of a mixed bag because you're closer to the action (and to the bathhouse) but it also can be really loud if they have something like a concert, and there's a lot of foot and golf cart traffic past your site all the time. Also in this area is the pool, which has recently been updated a little. It's very nice, and as such often crowded.

Stayed here with our RV several times. Nice pool and bath houses. Friendly staff who will let us stay in the club house late to watch our team in the baseball playoffs. Grounds well kept. Right down the street from Gettysburg, easy to spend several days exploring the historic battlefield and town outside of the resort.

Love this place! Booked an overnight stay last year at the last minute and had no problem. We’re at the end of a nine day stay this year and it’s been wonderful. Clean, quiet and relaxing. The staff on both stays has been nothing but friendly and helpful. To those complaining about their campsites, might I suggest using google maps when booking a site. The sites here (as with all campgrounds) very in size and configuration. By comparing google maps to the campground map there are no surprises. The only two complaints I have are the camp store closing at 5pm weekdays ( might be a seasonal thing. It’s the last week of September) and I’d like to see the pool table moved to an adult area. But rest assured we will be back!

My only main complaint is that some of the sites are very difficult to back the camper into, and sometimes to pull it out too. It isn't always because of it being unlevel, but more often because of trees and boulders in the way. Also the road is not enormous between the two lines of campsites, and once we ended up damaging our camper a little bit because we had to make such a sharp turn with the hauling truck to avoid hitting the camper across the road. If you get here early on the weekend or the holiday, when the sites haven't filled up yet, it's significantly easier. The resort actually used to have a service that would back the camper in for you if you stored it there, which has unfortunately been discontinued because we would totally use it.

We stayed almost 3 weeks. Went on several tours. I am glad we came and were not rushed to see things. Made some new friends . The camp was winding down in a way. Cool weather pool closed for the season.

The bathhouses are clean, especially compared to other places I've camped. There are two different ones which makes it more convenient. The sites are pretty large, although the size from one to the next can vary dramatically, so use their map to plan that out. We have been able to fit two cars next to our 32 foot travel trailer in the site if we plan ahead. They do have some extra parking near the club house if you have more than one vehicle and it doesn't fit.
