For me this is the only place to stay in Gettysburg. A new hotel that fits in with old town around it. The breakfast room it's on the top floor with a view of the battlefield. Very nice rooms at a very fair price. Stay here and you will be singing their praises as well. Oh by the way ... A terrific brewpub is two doors over. Great place for dinner or a place to sit and relax.
The “Sky Breakfast” on the 3rd Floor offers a great view of some of the battlefield. The food is very typical hotel fare - no surprises here one way or the other. It was worth the price...
We planned for that amount, but they could have let us know. What if... ??
Brand new hotel and it showed. Room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was also spacious and had very nice finishes. Would definitely stay here again
In town for a wedding. Everything about our stay was shockingly awesome. The rooms really felt like 5 star, high end rooms that you would find at a much more expensive hotel. The bed was even super comfortable. My only gripe was the 2 ply toilet paper. Definitely snapped me back to "oh yeah, this is actually a Best Western, reality. I still have to give 5 stars though because everything else about the hotel was so unexpectedly amazing.

Speaking of Kelly - she overheard my frustration while trying to communicate with this guy at the front desk and came out to “help.” She knew we were having multiple issues, and decided that her best course of action was to be rude. She kept interrupting me until it became necessary for me to raise my voice and demand that she let me finish what I was saying. She was very unprofessional.
We just finished our 2nd stay here, 3 days this time. Briefly, it’s a new facility in a great location, & the price is right. Unfortunately, you have to put up with an amateur staff & absurd policies, and very poor communication skills.
Called the front desk for extra blankets but they didn’t come. No answer when I called back & no one to be found at the front desk.
The only reason I give this hotel a 4 and not a 5 is the front desk you could tell the inexperience of staff took way to much time to do the simplest task. It's a new place and I'm sure they will get better with time.
We stayed 4 days when our first plans were to only stay 2, beds were comfortable very clean hotel, ladies that took care of the breakfast bar were some of the best I ever experience constantly replenishing everything if they weren't doing that they would be at the tables picking up empty plates not rushing people but making sure there was a seat for the next family, can't say enough about how friendly they were.
We reserved the room on a different card than we were going to pay with, and I asked to make sure that the reserving card would not be charged. They assured me it would only be used to hold the room. You guessed it - they charged the card. I wasted half a vacation day getting this fixed, since no one at the hotel knew how. After becoming the middle-man, we finally got it figured out, but not before the “manager” Kelly told me I should have known they would charge my card after 4:00. Of course, how silly of me not to do an in-depth research first... To Kelly’s credit, she did get on it immediately once I provided her with instructions. By 4:30 the next day my funds were released.
Hotels usually bill your card when you check out - these people take their money at check-in.
In short: this is a poorly run but nice new property, open just a few months. With so many other choices in and around Gettysburg, we won’t choose this place again. We come here to escape aggravation - they offer more.
They also add an additional charge to cover “incidentals.” We travel a lot & understand that most hotels leave your bill “open” until check-out, when they present you with your final bill/receipt. Again, not here. They assured us the charge would drop off. We are still waiting.
