Definitely an easy place to recommend if you are visiting the area.
The beds were very comfortable, had to switch rooms right when we got there because the blinds didn’t work but they were able to get us another room with a tub. I had a little bit of trouble sleeping because of vehicle noise on US 15. But I eventually fell asleep. GPS brought us right back to were it was when we first arrived so had no issues finding it. Only for the blinds and a missing microwave plate which they quickly brought us up a new one when I let the front desk know that there was not one in there. The stay was very good. 5 stars!
The location of the hotel is perfect. It's a quick and easy drive to the battlefield visitor's center. There's an outlet mall right up the hill. Gas stations and the highway are all easily accessible. There are other hotel locations in Gettysburg proper but it is hard to beat the convenience and affordability of this property.
We stayed there a few weeks ago and it was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the lady who worked the breakfast buffet in the morning. She really made us feel welcome. It is very conveniently located, although they need more signage in order to initially find it. The hotel is brand new so of course everything was clean and fresh. Would definitely return and will recommend to others.
room was nice but we got the last one available which was double queen (wanted king) and it was wheel chair accessible, large bathroom, lots of handrails. If you couldn't get in the tub for a disabled person... there was no other option we saw. Breakfast was offeredand it was fair...egg white veg omelette or other eggs, one day turkey sausage (dry) or pork and next day bacon or turkey. variety of breads- bagels, muffins, bananas or apples, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, pancake maker. and our favorite 24/7 hot coffee or tea in lobby with a variety of creamers.
The hotel is very well maintained. The staff is very good, friendly, helpful. The issue I have is that they built with in 2,000 yards of Route 15 and you can hear the traffic noise at night. Of course it a only about 1/4 of the rooms. I just feel it's poor planning. I have seen this more and more all over the Country.
We stayed at the hotel within its first week of being open. We had a few minor kinks related to our reservation that was due to an internal miscommunication but the manager and staff quickly and graciously resolved the issue and met our family need for adjoining rooms.
