I am sorry I had to give a star at all for my rating! The worst customer service known to man kind! We had a booking problem. Our reservation was booked wrong online. When we repeatedly called the hotel five minutes after our booking and one day during the work week, later to fix the problem, they refused to help make the problem right. They blamed us and told us to not take their time up on the phone even though we already paid as a customer. The lady manager seems to not understand people skills at all. They were not understanding at all for a family trying to plan a trip with three kids! Save your money and time by avoiding this place. Customer service is everything. If they can't rectify a simply problem how can they possible manage a hotel filled with guests!
Looks like it was built in the 70's and stayed that way. On the good side It is clean and comfortable. And the staff is polite and accommodating. On the not so good side the building looks like it has been maintained but not been updated. But for the price that includes breakfast and dinner and proximity to Gettysburg. I think it is a decent place for the money.
Outdated, rundown and unkempt. Hotel was understaffed and in desperate need of maintenance - There was a gun show and coin show going on there this weekend which must be what keeps them afloat. The accommodations were less than expected for the rate we paid for our room - $159. We booked at the last minute and really paid a penalty as there were no other options. Room was outdated and dark - bathroom was gross - they could barely spare one tiny bar of soap for two sinks and a tub - and minimal towels. There were also some weird stains on our room door. You would think they would wipe those down or repaint them if they looked that bad. I didn't want to touch anything. Ancient TV with a bad picture. I couldn't wait to leave.
Free breakfast was decent.
Our room in the Aspire was very nice! The beds were absolutely yummy and the room was very clean. It was very convenient to the events we were attending at the conference center. The breakfast buffet could use a bit of help. Overall a very nice place to stay!!
We stayed there October 13-15. Room overlooked the pool. Very loud. People swimming at midnight. This was the only hotel I've ever stayed at that didn't make the beds. Given one bar of soap to be used both in the shower and the sink. Big hole in the lampshade. Floor didn't look like it was properly vacuumed.
