What a wonderful B & B. The breakfast was excellent both mornings we were here. The room was well kept and very clean. We stayed in the carriage house. It is private and away from the 2 main buildings. The grounds are immaculate with flowers and a small garden waterfall. The patio was where breakfast is served (weather permitting) and the staff and owners were very nice. If your in the area this is the place to stay for a night or more.
The Hospitality was amazing. The History is why we came. The room is beautiful. The only thing that I could complain about is the couple in the room above us were heavy walkers and walked in circles in their room all night long. It's a very old building so the walls are thin and the floors are creeky. That on the other hand is the only complaint I had. I would definitely stay here again, but next time I'd request an upstairs room.
What a gem of a Bed & Breakfast we found here. Clean, comfortable well kept rooms. Well manicured grounds with flowers, flowing water and birds flying around. A nice patio to have breakfast on weather permitting and a breakfast that was wonderful. If your visiting Gettysburg forget the chain hotels and stay here a couple nights. You wont be disappointed.
Lovely facilities. Very friendly staff and owners. Very accommodating to my special dietary needs as a vegan. More than willing to help with arranging tours and to get recommendations about sightseeing. Just a very charming experience over all.
My wife and I stayed at the Brick House Bed and Breakfast for 2 nights Nov. 9-11 2017. From booking our stay up till our departure the Staff was incredibly helpful , friendly, and inviting. Brian , Tess, and every staff member we came in contact with, even if it was just in passing were so friendly and helpful. They arranged for our battlefield tour and dinner reservation. They also provided wonderful recommendations for lunch. The inn itself is very nice. Classy, comfortable and clean. The only thing I could have asked for was warmer weather to enjoy their porch and out door space. The breakfast was incredible. No other way to describe it. We will be back at the Brick House and would definitely recommend to anyone. You truly will not find better hosts. This review is very similar the the several hundred or so other fantastic reviews. No surprise. In summary, fantastic job Brian and Tess, we had a great few days and it was a pleasure meeting you all.
