My husband and I stayed at The Gaslight Inn the last weekend of April 2017. It rained for the three days we were in Gettysburg, but the Gaslight and the hosts provided a truly warm and cozy retreat. Our room was tastefully pretty and very comfortable--bed, small TV, renovated bathroom--and came with brochures and maps for getting around town to good eateries and sights. The dining room was particularly guest-friendly with fresh cookies, a wine cooler, a water cooler, a hot water faucet for beverage-hot water, coffee, teabags, glasses, cups, silverware. Breakfasts were huge, creative, colorful, nutritious, and irresistibly delicious. I feel certain there is no better place to stay in Gettysburg. Waling distance to many good stops and just a short run to the Gettysburg National Military Visitors Center.
This was my first stay at a bed and breakfast and it was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Violet room, which was really cute and comfortable. The house was beautiful as well as the landscaping outside. We were only able to stay for one night but have plans to go back and will definitely stay at the Gaslight Inn again. The breakfast was delicious and just the right amount of food before a day full of touring the battlefields. We also appreciated the information that was provided and restaurant suggestions.
Absolutely delightful! This B&B came recommended by my brother and sister-in-law who have stayed there several times. It did not disappoint. The inn is lovely and the proprietors are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was really nice. Great location. And clean!!! I would love to visit again.
We had a wonderful two night stay at The Gaslight Inn. From its location we were able to walk around Gettysburg for food and shopping. We were also given a map and many ideas for places to visit during our stay. And of course we had delicious breakfasts both mornings. We definitely want to visit again
I honestly can't say enough nice things about The Gaslight Inn and it's amazing staff. We don't stay anywhere else when we visit Gettysburg. The house is beautifully decorated and well-kept and the staff is SO friendly. They recommended some of our favorite restaurants and activities during our trip! The breakfast is absolutely to die for and they can even accommodate most food allergies with advanced notice!
